Czech  We are looking for a new colleague for a position of Accounting Supervisor who will lead by example and develop a strong team. We greatly appreciate personalities who are not afraid to realize their ideas!

Key responsibilities

  • Implementing and coordinating accounting projects, leading of a team of accountants, planning and controlling their work
  • Providing support by the set-up of co-operation for new clients
  • Communicating with clients
  • Booking of complicated payroll transactions
  • Preparing and control of the VAT return
  • Monitoring of the changes in accountancy legislation and their practical implementation
  • Preparing the yearly closing of books, booking closing operations, communication with tax consultants, assistance during audits
  • Supporting team of accountants from methodical point of view, preparing the accounting training materials for internal and external purposes

Your ideal profile

  • University education attained with economic/accounting specialization
  • At least 4 years working experience in processing of accounting, ideally in advisory company
  • Very good knowledge of related accounting and tax legislation, accounting and financial processes
  • Prior experience with people management and leading the team
  • Knowledge of accounting software (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / SAP is a great advantage)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) at user level
  • Knowledge of English at advanced level (both written and spoken), Czech is a must
  • Ongoing or completed professional certification (ACCA, etc.) is and advantage
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, responsibility – meeting deadlines
