We are looking for a communicative, active and strongly pro-client oriented colleague who would like to share his/her experience and who is willing to learn and grow with us.

Key responsibilities

  • independent booking of all accounting transactions of local and international clients,
  • elaboration and control of the VAT Return (in case of some specifics, VAT Return is prepared in cooperation with the tax consultant or accounting supervisor),
  • preparation of the yearly closing of books and booking of the closing operations (in more complex cases in cooperation with the accounting supervisor),
  • preparation of statistic reports, reports for the National Bank and reports for other institutions (state bodies),
  • communication with clients (complex in accounting issues),
  • reporting for the clients,
  • planning and review work for Junior Accountants and Accountants,
  • following and meeting statutory deadlines for statutory reporting,
  • following and meeting deadlines agreed with the client

Requirements

  • higher level of professional education / University education attained with economical specialization,
  • senior knowledge of legislation related to accountancy and taxes,
  • four or more year’s experience in processing accounting,
  • knowledge of accounting software at advanced level (knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV / SAP is an advantage),
  • very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, database systems, OS Windows and ERP systems,
  • very good knowledge of accounting and financial processes,
  • knowledge of Slovak at proficient level or native speaker,
  • language skills: English at upper intermediate (both written and spoken); knowledge of other language(s) is an advantage,
  • strong orientation on processes, ability to identify right process flow of activities, ability to design and set up systems and process flow,
  • strong communication and presentation skills, strong organizational skills,
  • work independently as well as in a team,
  • ability to analyze and solve problems, ability to consult and pass information well,
  • strategically minded, result oriented person
