The optimistic and colourful exhibition of the Slovak singer, Pavol Hammel, has been replaced on March 6, 2018, by the works of academic painter Igor Piačka. His artwork can also be seen in the Musem of modern art Danubiana.
The paintings we exhibit in the representative areas of our company display realistic scenes and moments from films of the genre film noir, i.e. many of the stories and characters are derived from thrillers with characters known for their cynicism and insensitivity (heroes such as from Hitchcock’s and Lynch’s films). The paintings, translating the dramatic film moments without aggrandizement, captured still up-to-date topics, such as the mafia, expressing strong feelings in the fusion of real imagery and abstraction. Furthermore, the Slovak figuralist depicts real life models too besides movie scenes, enhanced by fantastic elements. In addition to painting, the artist is also a dedicated book, album and postage illustrator.
We believe that the employees and clients of Accace will receive these paintings full of human emotion with an open mind, and that they will provide new topics for discussion.
