As part of the gradual liberalization policy, the National Bank of Ukraine has canceled the requirement to provide the act of pricing expertise of the State Information and Analytical Center, for the import payment services residents.
Corresponding changes approved by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine № 372 dated August 18, 2016 “On the recognition of those that lost their power, some legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine”, which comes into force today, 19 August 2016, said “Law & Business” in the National Bank.
Until the cancellation, it was required forUkrainian residents to pay for services (as well as for the intellectual property rights), acquired from a non-resident, if the total value of these services is more than 50 000 Euros. In this regard, it was necessary to obtain an act of pricing expertise from the State information and analytical external monitoring center commodity markets (Derzhzovnishinform). The act was supposed to witness the compliance with local prices for the services, according to market conditions.
“The National Bank believes that the requirement to obtain a certificate of price examination – Derzhzovnishinform – has lost its effectiveness as a tool to combat the outflow of capital. The removal of such rules does not cause the weakening of control over the foreign economic operations on the import of services. ”, – said Sergey Ponomarenko, on behalf of the National Bank of Ukraine.
