Poland implements the e-Delivery service, which in 2025 becomes mandatory for all entrepreneurs registered in National Court Register (KRS) including commercial companies and branch offices.
E-Delivery in Poland is a service of registered electronic delivery that enables electronic exchange of correspondence with public authorities.
An entrepreneur who establishes an address for e-Delivery indicates this address as the address for correspondence between the entrepreneur and authorities in Poland (in the future, also courts). It means that authorities using e-Delivery in Poland will send correspondence addressed to the entrepreneur only electronically with the effect of delivery equivalent to registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
It should be mentioned that the address for e-Delivery indicated by the entrepreneur is subject to entrance in the National Court Register, and therefore should be updated each time it changes. Failure to update it may result in correspondence being directed by authorities and courts to an outdated address with the effect of proper delivery.
January 1st, 2025: It concerns entrepreneurs registered with the National Court Register starting from January 1st, 2025.
April 1, 2025: It concerns entrepreneurs registered with the National Court Register by January 1st, 2025.
The e-Delivery mailbox in Poland must have at least one administrator, which should be a person with a PESEL number or European ID.
The administrator’s tasks include receiving, sending and managing correspondence, as well as configuring the e-Delivery mailbox. In addition, the administrator has the authority to grant rights to new users of the e-Delivery mailbox, the scope of which varies, for example: sending and preparing messages or only viewing them.
At any time, it is possible to change the details of the current administrator, as well as to remove the current administrator or replace him with another person. This authority at any time is vested in the owner of the mailbox, who has rights to all scopes of authority and functions within ADE.
