The minimum wage in Czech Republic will be increased from CZK 9.900 monthly to CZK 11.000 monthly since 1st January 2017. At the same time the special minimum wage for the employees with the disability pension will be canceled, there will be just one minimum wage for all employees.
Guaranteed levels of minimum wage
Based on Government regulation there is new minimum wage level set up since 1st January 2017 in Czech Republic. New level of minimum wage represents CZK 11.000 monthly for the 1st group of work, consequently other groups rates will also be increased.
Guaranteed level of minimum wage related to working time of 40 hours weekly is set up based on complexity, liability and strenuous of work. There are 8 work groups recognized:

At the same time the special minimum wage for the employees with the disability pension will be repealed. Since 1st January 2017 there will be just one minimum wage for all employees.
