Social Insurance Agency offers electronic accounts for insured employees in Slovakia and in addition to the option of employees personally applying for access at a Social Insurance Agency branch, they offer the possibility of setting up access for your employees directly at your workplace. This allows employees to get an overview of their social insurance and to communicate with the Social Insurance Agency online.
Why should employees set up access to the online branch of the Social Insurance Agency?
Save time: Fewer in-person visits to branches to obtain social insurance information.
Instant access: Immediate access to information and the ability to print it, which would previously have been obtained through correspondence with the Social Insurance Agency.
Online overview: Online overview of social insurance and the ability to print required overviews.
Feedback: The possibility of providing feedback through contact forms, e.g., in case of complaints.
Insurance periods: Overview of insurance periods, the ability to verify individual insurance periods (sickness, pension, unemployment) and their recording in the Social Insurance Agency’s systems.
Benefits: Information on entitlement to benefits and the basis for calculating the amount of a social insurance benefit (e.g., sickness, maternity, care, unemployment benefit, old-age/early old-age pension, disability pension).
Data verification: Employees can verify whether their employer is paying social insurance contributions on their behalf.
Life periods: Verification of the recording of life periods during which the insured person does not pay social insurance contributions, e.g., maternity, long-term care.
In addition to the possibility of employees applying for access at a Social Insurance Agency branch, the Social Insurance Agency offers you the possibility of setting up access for your employees directly at your workplace.
Upon mutual agreement, Social Insurance Agency employees will visit you and set up access for your employees without the need for them to visit a branch.
The procedure is simple:
Please distribute the following information about the benefits of setting up access to the Electronic Insured Person’s Account to your employees, along with an offer to have it processed directly at their workplace. To complete the process, they will only need a completed application form (PDF attached) and a proof of identity. The process is immediate.
If employees and the employer express interest in this service, please contact them by email at: . They will arrange a time and place to visit you and set up the access, or answer any additional questions you may have.
Before the visit to the employer, it is possible to give a presentation to your employees introducing the Electronic Insured Person’s Account (EUP) (the presentation can be online via TEAMS or in person).
At the agreed time, Social Insurance Agency employees will come to the designated place at the employer’s, where they will gradually set up the access for your employees on the spot, according to their interest.
From you as the employer, they will need a room to carry out this activity and organization of interested parties so that they can come for the process on an ongoing basis.
