As of September 1, 2025, an amendment to Act No. 5/2004 Coll. on Employment Services will come into effect, introducing a significant change to employer notification forms in Slovakia. This affects how employers must notify the employment of certain categories of individuals.
Employers will be required to electronically notify the employment of the following persons:
Notification will be possible exclusively in electronic form using a designated form:
The information card forms will be available at: Home page – UPVS – Employment section → Labour Law Relations tab
From September 1, 2025, it will no longer be possible to submit the information card by post or in person.
Such submissions will not be considered as fulfilling the employer’s legal obligation.
We will be happy to prepare all the necessary documentation for our clients. However, please note that the submission itself must be handled internally within your company, as well as ensuring access to your electronic mailbox, if you do not already have it.
